Hospitality Committee & Teacher Appreciation

Our most important and FUN week of the year is Dragon Week 2025, which will take place in the Spring. Dragon Week is comprised of Dragon Fest, a community wide event at GMES with games, food, art, face painting, and FUN, and Party on the Patio, our annual adults-only fundraiser that helps raise money for fieldtrips, assemblies, Walking Wednesdays, teacher appreciation, school supplies and whatever is needed to help make our school a great place to be for kids and teachers.

We need a few more parent volunteers to help with Hospitality Committee - which helps coordinate PTA-funded lunches and breakfasts and other small items to show support for our teachers and staff on certain occasions throughout the year (for example, breakfast for teachers on parent-teacher conference days). Interested in helping but not for the whole year? Teacher Appreciation Week takes place in the Spring and we need help coordinating meals and a small gift for teachers that week only.
